The pool was great and the games for children were amazing. The staff, who have been there for years, were reliable and good people. The coffee at breakfast was just great. It was the perfect choice for our family!

A Hidden Oasis

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem in Acapulco, located just a few blocks away from the main attractions. The hotel's bungalows are tucked away behind a beautiful wrought iron gate, creating an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city. The lush foliage and well-manicured tropical plants made me feel like I had my own private house in a tropical rainforest.

Well-maintained property with a great pool. Friendly and reliable long-term staff. Convenient location near the main attractions and beach. Basic breakfast but excellent coffee. Perfect for families with amazing children's games. 👍

Had a great time over Xmas at this lovely hotel. The pool was sparkling clean, and the bungalows were surrounded by lush greenery. Really appreciated the air conditioning and cable TV in the room, along with the strong water pressure. The location was perfect - just a short stroll from the main strip but quiet enough to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Staff were friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble, including arranging taxis and giving local advice.

The room felt a bit cramped and outdated, and the bathroom was on the small side. Despite friendly staff, the language barrier created some communication issues that were frustrating at times.

The hotel was further away from the main drag, but it wasn't a big deal because the taxi fares were reasonable.

The Sands Hotel and Bungalows was a great find for my weekend getaway. The lush foliage and tropical plants in the hotel grounds created a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The bungalow I stayed in was cozy and quiet, providing a perfect retreat. The staff worked very hard to make sure everything was right for me, even replacing a faulty air conditioner within an hour.

Great pool and beautiful gardens. The room had cable TV and air conditioning and the hot water always worked. Plus the hotel was near the beach and shops.

The service was appalling, the staff were unhelpful and rude. The food was overpriced and the rooms were outdated and dirty.

During my recent stay at Sands Acapulco Hotel & Bungalows, I unfortunately fell ill and needed medical help. The hotel staff went above and beyond to assist me, despite the language barrier. They arranged my medical treatment and even helped me communicate with my family back home. I am extremely grateful for their extraordinary care and support. I highly recommend this hotel for their exceptional service and dedication.
